Preparing for the EOCT...
U.S. History is a required course for graduation in Georgia schools. One of the final course requirements is to take the Georgia U.S. History End of Course Test (EOCT). The EOCT counts as 20% of the student's final U.S. History course grade. It is essential that all students complete the course work that is given to them through each unit's journals. In addition to the journals, students will be asks to create their own study index cards, that will consist of practice EOCT questions and answers. The completion of every units journals, the student's self-created index study cards, and the use of the "U.S. History EOCT Study Guide" (which is attached below) will ensure that every student is prepared to take the EOCT to the best of their abilities.
